In an article headed "Craft union may pull out of the PPF" in last Saturday's editions it was stated that the Technical Engineering and Electrical Union (TEEU) represented fitters, plumbers and electricians. In fact, the Amalgamated Engineering and Electrical Union (AEEU) represents plumbers, not the TEEU.

Last Saturday's report headed "Garda Complaints Board `profoundly unsatisfactory', Garda conference told", said Mr Michael Farrell, solicitor and representative of the Irish Council for Civil Liberties, had told the conference that many solicitors advise their clients not to bring cases to the Garda Complaints Board. What Mr Farrell actually said was that many solicitors no longer encourage their clients to take their complaints to the complaints board.

An article in last Thursday's Property supplement on Fingal's new county hall reported that An Taisce had opposed the building of the offices. We have been asked by An Taisce to point out that only its local association in Fingal had opposed the scheme; the national organisation welcomed it as "a positive addition to the town" of Swords.
