A report in the editions of August 5th, headed "Bord Iascaigh Mhara chief back", stated incorrectly that the post of chairman of BIM carried a salary of £60,000 per annum. Mr Patrick Ridge, who has been reappointed as chairman, receives an annual fee of £4,000.
A report in last Monday's editions, headed "Irish diplomacy now driven as much by economics as politics", quoted Ms Eibhlin Curley of Enterprise Ireland's office in Stockholm as saying "we look after . . . different buyer groups from Ireland looking to build on what they already have here". Ms Curley wishes to stress that Enterprise Ireland in Stockholm assists Irish exporters and manufacturing companies who want to establish and develop business in the Nordic market.
