In yesterday's report headed "State to pay for rehearing of six cases in Supreme Court" reference was made to an appeal by Mr Conor Brady, Editor of The Irish Times, and Paul O'Neill, journalist, against a £30,000 fine for contempt arising out of the publication of an article in 1993. In fact, the fine was £5,000.
