In an article headed "The eloquence of Mr Foley's silence" in last Saturday's editions, it was stated that Irish Life & Permanent were the current owners of Ansbacher Cayman. In fact, Guinness & Mahon (Ireland) Ltd sold Guinness Mahon Cayman Trust (now known as Ansbacher Cayman Ltd) in 1984. Irish Life & Permanent plc purchased Guinness & Mahon (Ireland) Ltd in 1994.
