The caption under a photograph of feeding swans in the editions of Tuesday, June 6th, made reference to the "Malahide Estuary". The correct name of the estuary which lies between Swords and Malahide is the Broad Meadow Water.

A picture caption in yesterday's commercial property supplement claimed that the Spar convenience store on Dame Street, Dublin, had been given permission by An Bord Pleanala to sell hot food.

In fact, the applicant's case failed on a technical point relating to the planning history of these premises, but general conclusions reached by the board in relation to the limited sale of hot food in such retail stores would appear to be good news for similar retailers, as the accompanying article made clear.
