In the interview with Tyne Daly in last Saturday's Weekend supplement, Vesuvious Productions was quoted as saying that Mother Courage and Her Children had never been performed in Ireland before. In fact, it has. In the 1950s, for instance, Hilton Edwards had a very successful production in the Gaiety, with Eithne Dunne as the eponymous heroine.

In yesterday's report headed "Winners of FAS excellence awards" the name of one of the recipients, Electric Paper Ltd, was given incorrectly.
