Yesterday's leading article headed "Special Pleading" said the number of passengers carried by Bus Eireann had decreased. This should have read Dublin Bus. Passengers on Bus Eireann increased from 83.8 million in 1999 to 84.3 million in 2000 while Dublin Bus passengers fell from 193 million to 187.7 million in the same period.
