In a letter headed "Sanctions against Iraq" in yesterday's editions, the British ambassador, Sir Ivor Roberts, was referred to as Sir Ivor Richards. The error occurred in the editing process.

In an article on church architecture in the Weekend of August 4th, the name of Bishop John Neill of Cashel and Ossory was given incorrectly as Robert Neil.
