A report in the editions of June 19th referred to a complaint received and upheld by the Advertising Standards Authority for Ireland that an advertisement for Levi jeans had been shown during cinema matinee performances where the audience consisted largely of children. The report stated that Levi had agreed that its advertisement should have been removed for the two performances. In fact, because the complaint related to the timing of the screening of the advertisement, the ASAI contacted Cinema Media, the distributor of the advertising reels, and it was Cinema Media which agreed the advertisement should have been removed for the two performances.
