Decorative and fine arts lectures start on Tuesday
The next Fine and Decorative Arts certificate course organised by the Institute of Professional Auctioneers begins on Tuesday evening next at 7.30 p.m. in its offices at 39 Upper Fitzwilliam St, Dublin. Deemed to be suitable as an introduction to a career in fine and decorative arts, or simply for pleasure, the course will cover the histories of furniture, painting, silver, glass, architecture and interiors. Advanced fine-art course next month An advanced fine-art evening course run by the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute begins on Wednesday, February 10th, in its offices at 38 Merrion Square, Dublin 2. Consisting of nine illustrated lectures on furniture, silver and Irish art, the course is suitable to those already versed in these subjects.
