THERE is no political reason for the change of the Royal Ulster Academy Association's name to the Arts Society of Ulster, it seems. The society, which promotes interest in the visual arts in the North, was asked by the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts to change its name when the senior organisation formed itself into a trust. Why this should have been is still something of a mystery - to the society but it will benefit from more autonomy.
