- Lucky Leonard:A fourth and final date has been added to Leonard Cohen's Dublin run next week. A limited number of Thursday tickets are now on sale.

- Bargain Basement:Basement Jaxx have enlisted some big names for their forthcoming album. Yoko Ono, Lightspeed Champion, Sam Sparro and Santigold will all appear on Scars, released in September. The duo play Electric Picnic.

- Reel remedy:Victoria "Little Boots" Hesketh has said that she will provide the soundtrack to a major film this year. She's working on the project with Hot Chip's Joe Goddard.

- Shocking laughs:With just seven weeks to go to Electric Picnic, the comedy line-up is taking shape. Sean Hughes is on the Stradbelly Laughs stage, where he'll be joined by fellow Perrier winner Phil Nichol. Also performing will be Brendon Burns, Kevin Bridges, Joe Rooney, Gavin Webster and Eric Lalor.
