U2 album at HMV:HMV will open its stores in Dublin (Grafton Street) and Galway (Eyre Square) at midnight next Thursday to sell the new U2 album.

More for Oxegen FridayThe Killers have been announced as the latest band to play Oxegen this July. Fans registered at www.oxegen.ie can avail of the pre-sale from next Wednesday. Tickets are €224.50, but this year organisers have introduced a deposit scheme. An initial €120 will secure a ticket, as long as fans pay the rest before April 30th.

Andrews acts

The next Phantom First Friday will take place at Andrew’s Lane Theatre, Dublin on March 6th, and will feature performances from The Kinetiks, Cowboy X and Autoban. Admission is free before 10pm.

The White Stripes will make their first live performance in 18 months tonight, on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
