In an announcement that will shock absolutely nobody, James Cameron has confirmed that he is planning two sequels to Avatar.Shot back to back, the films are set for release in 2014 and 2015.

"I am in the process of writing the next two Avatarfilms now," the Canadian said. "We are planning to shoot them together and post them together, and we will probably release them not quite back to back, but about a year apart. Christmas 2014 and 2015 is the current plan."

Cameron also announced that a significant amount of the profits will go to green causes.
