In further dust-up news, a row has broken out between costume personnel from
Black Swan.
Amy Westcott, recipient of a Bafta nomination for her work on the ballet melodrama, is not getting on at all with Laura and Kate Mulleavy, creators of the Rodarte label, whose clothes are featured in the film. Reports have emerged that the sisters are unhappy with not receiving proper credit for their contribution, but Westcott seems in no mood to compromise.
"Controversy is too complimentary a word for two people using their considerable self-publicising resources to loudly complain about their credit once they realised how good the film is," the costumer said. Oooh! Saucer of milk for table three.
"I was happy for Rodarte's persistent publicity efforts at first," Westcott continued. "I'm so proud of the film and anything that brings it to an even wider audience is genuinely welcome."
The Baftas take place on Sunday night.
