Fans of William Friedkin will be delighted to hear that the great man is touching down in Dublin for a screening of his fine new film Killer Joe. Following the screening, which takes place tomorrow at 5pm in Dublin’s Light House cinema, Friedkin will conduct a QA hosted by this writer.

One of the bright young things who, energised by the French New Wave, redesigned Hollywood in the early 1970s, Friedkin will, we trust, also offer some clarifications on the legends surrounding his early work.
