The admirable Kerry Film Festival came to a spiffing conclusion in Tralee at the weekend. Juliette Binoche was on hand to receive the Maureen O'Hara award from the great woman herself. Judges in the short film awards (presented by Dave Fanning) included Jane Seymour and James Marsh, director of
Man on Wire.
Among the gong winners were Keith Mannix's Christmas Swim, which picked up the audience award, and Arne Toonen's
Drop Dead!, triumphant in the best international short competition. Check out the rest of the awards at kerryfilmfestival.com.
