Moore sees red in profit row

Cor blimey, you wouldn’t want to get in the middle of a fight between Michael Moore and the Weinstein brothers

Cor blimey, you wouldn't want to get in the middle of a fight between Michael Moore and the Weinstein brothers. Such a rumble is currently brewing. The burly documentary-maker has filed a suit claiming that the producers concealed profits from his hugely successful Fahrenheit 9/11.

"An independent auditor came in and discovered that the Weinsteins had re-routed at least $2.7 million that belonged to Michael Moore from Fahrenheit 9/11," said Larry Stein, Moore's lawyer. "This is the first time Michael Moore has ever sued anyone in his 20-year career as a film-maker. That should be some indication about how serious this is."
