Readers may be wondering why reviews have not appeared here of such recent films as Paul, The Mechanic, Saw 3Dand, arriving this week, Drive Angry 3D. It's hard to give a precise answer. Lionsgate UK, the distributor of those films, failed to schedule an Irish press show for any of them.

Despite attempts to extract a comment from the company, no response was forthcoming. Reviews of each of these films appeared in the British press, but, for reasons of its own, Lionsgate won’t put its product before the Irish media. We can only speculate.
