Are there any stories less reliable than those headed “What Quentin did Next”? Never mind. Mr Tarantino has set fingers clattering with the news that he is planning to follow-up Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained with the final part in a trilogy of movies that “rewrite history”. He dropped the hint after taking home the best original screenplay Bafta last weekend. “This begs a trilogy,” he gabbled. “It begs to have a third movie on this theme. I haven’t decided about what yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised.”
Come to Ireland, old man. We have a host of bitter scores that need reworking through the medium of post-modern dialogue and ultra-violence.
