SNOW WHITE AND the Huntsmanand Mirror Mirrorare both set for release next year, with the latter in cinemas first. The German fairytale, popularised by an adaptation by the Brothers Grimm, has been adapted time and again, and two wannabe blockbusters will tackle the story within months of one another in 2012.
So, which Snow White is the fairest of them all, and which one will be stuck with the box office equivalent of a poison apple?
The Cast
Snow White and the Huntsmanstars Twilightgraduate Kirsten Stewart in the leading role and Oscar-winner Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen.
The seven dwarves are also star- studded with Ian McShane, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Ray Winstone and Nick Frost all securing roles.
Mirror Mirror'sbig star is Julia Roberts as the Queen. The relatively unknown Lily Collins takes the role of Snow White, Armie Hammer, who played the Winkelvoss twins in The Social Network, plays Prince Andrew Alcott, and Sean Bean stars as the King.
