A rare officers' silver tunic button from the Lisburn and Culloden Private Police Force (Day Constabulary), dating from around 1780, will be among the items on offer at the Dublin Castle antiques and collectables fair tomorrow. The button is one of only six still known to be in existence.

A pair of hand-coloured lithographs, after David Roberts, depicting the slave market in Cairo will also be on sale, together with a wide range of porcelain, including pieces by Shelley, Clarice Cliff and Beswick. Other items on offer run from antiquarian books and small furniture to Victorian and Edwardian collectables, linen and lace.

The fair, which is being held in the Old Coach House, opens at 10.30 a.m.
