Furniture, paintings at inaugural Bunratty event
The ever-increasing number of antique fairs around the country will be further augmented tomorrow with the first such event at Bunratty. Fitzpatrick's Hotel is the venue, where more than 50 stands will be offered to the public from 11 a.m. onwards.
As usual with such fairs, the focus will be on smaller items of furniture, from Georgian to Edwardian periods, plus antique jewellery, silver, paintings and prints, coins and stamps, and china and porcelain, as well as collectables such as phonecards.
Dublin fair to provide 45 stands tomorrow
The customary antiques and collectables fair takes place at the Doyle Tara Towers Hotel in Dublin tomorrow, opening at 10 a.m. It will provide 45 stands with a mixture of items ranging from brass and copperware to toys, cigarette cards and pieces of furniture.
