On Tuesday, from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., the masses are invited to a free concert at Essex. Street East and Temple Bar Square with the Power Tool Orchestra, Los Perillos from Spain and Different Drums from Belfast, in celebration of Ireland's EU Presidency.

On the same night, from 9.30 p.m. in the new Meetinghouse Square (pictured above), there will a concert for an invited audience which will be televised live, with performers including The Corrs, Anuna, Martin O'Connor and Maire Breatnach there will also be a specially commissioned short film by Hugh Chaloner and a new musical work by Shaun Davey will be performed.
