Sega's Crazy Taxi has gone mobile and freemium, bringing the game to a whole new generation of players. Built specifically for the touchscreen mobile interface, you get rewarded for driving like a lunatic around the city, picking up passengers and delivering them to their chosen destinations. You swipe the screen to change lanes, tap left or right to drift around corners and hit the brakes to pick up passengers. Once you grab your passenger, you'll have a set time to get them to their destination. Along the way there are obstacles to avoid, tricks to pull and scenery to blast through. The ultimate goal is to build a taxi fleet – you start with a borrowed car and work your way up from there. You can also customise your car to reflect more of your driver's personality. The iOS version allows you to customise your soundtrack – an option not yet available to Android users. Like any freemium game, City Rush is littered with in-app purchases, but they can be avoided.
