Fifa has remained at the top of the football game pile for the past few years, a position it's not keen to relinquish any time soon. But with the next generation of games consoles only weeks away, Fifa 14 has to offer current console owners something that's compelling enough to make them invest in the game now rather than hold off until November. While Fifa 14 isn't a major leap in the game evolution, it does advance the series just enough to make it worth the purchase. Movement is more realistic, thanks to the Precision Movement feature, and the real ball physics makes shots behave a little more like they would in real life. It ultimately makes the game more difficult to play, but more realistic and satisfying when you do make that impossibleshot. The ability to name your own dream team out of a roster of legends in Ultimate Team mode is also worth trying.
