What you've found . . .

This newspaper recently referred to a special offer on eye tests at Specsavers shops. But PriceWatch has received an e-mail from a reader who rang Specsavers in Dún Laoghaire to make an appointment only to be told it hadn't heard of the promotion.

Specsavers' head office now confirms that the offer is available in DúLaoghaire, as well as in Limerick (two stores), Newbridge and Navan, until next month. Just bring along a utility bill or a Specsavers voucher to prove you live in the area. It apologises for any confusion or embarrassment caused to its customers by the misunderstanding.

Last week's column misstated the price of a full body massage from Barbara Baker on Model Farm Road in Cork. She charges €45
