What you've found . . .
Mary O'Brien got in touch about the cost of a "baby bowl" at the Red Cow Moran Hotel, in Dublin. The bowl, for babies and toddlers, typically consists of potato, vegetables and gravy or soup. O'Brien says the hotel bar charged her 5.50 for it, assuring her it had not made a mistake when she queried the cost. A more usual price is 1 or 2, and the bowl is often complimentary, she adds.
The hotel now says the baby bowl should have been free. It will refund O'Brien's money and, if she can show her receipt, make sure the member of staff who made the mistake knows not to charge for baby bowls in future.
