The Underground@ Kennedy’s, Dublin Tomorrow 11pm 6 before midnight/12 01-6611124
A highly recommended new- school takeover is on the cards for Westland Row as bold-print name producers Ramadanman and Mosca hit town for this bash.
Co-founder of Hessle Audio, Leeds resident David Kennedy is Ramadanman, a producer whose star was on the rise in 2010 thanks to such cuts as Grab Somebody and Glut, as well as well-judged, interstellar remixes for Jamie Woon and Spark. Now operating as well under the Pearson Sound name (check out how he’s re-imagined MIA’s It Takes a Muscle as a subsonic odyssey) Kennedy releases a Fabriclive mix-album in April.
He’s joined for this tasty double bill by Mosca (pictured), aka London producer Tom Reid, whose releases for Night Slugs (the emotive, deep Square One, remixes for Four Tet and Foals) have increased the buzz around his name. Ignored Playaz boss Marcus supplies the local flavour on the bill. JIM CARROLL
