MORE than 40 dealers from throughout the Republic will be participating in tomorrow's antiques and collectables fair in Newman House, Dublin. There ought to be a strong showing of English and Irish silver on this occasion, with the more interesting pieces including a 1753 hook handled basting spoon by John Loughlin of Dublin, a 1771 soup ladle by John Locker, also of Dublin, and a set of four sauce boats by Hester Bateman, made in London in 1780.
