This may well be one of your last chances to catch Kathleen Brien aka Katy B in a venue of this size for the foreseeable future. In a few months, after her On a Missionalbum has woven its spell, she'll have moved onto much bigger rooms than this.

The Brit school grad's profile has rocketed over the last year thanks to releases such as Katy on a Missionand Lights Out,and collaborations with Magnetic Man and The Count Sinden. But as her debut album shows, Katy B has far too much talent to end up as another mere guest vocalist. She is also perfectly poised to be a popstep winner, effortlessly joining the dots between dubstep's underground thrills and the mainstream's poppier tendencies. Don't be surprised if On a Mission ends up as one of 2011's top albums.
