An Post education awards ask teenagers what they think about healthy-living messages. The theme for this year's awards is: "It's time to look at food and exercise differently." The competition invites students to create a piece of art or to write about food and exercise and what influences their decisions on health and well-being.

Hurry, though: the deadline is Friday week, May 5th. Send entries to An Post Education Awards, PO Box 9949, Dublin 1. More than 100 schools will participate in this year's Young Social Innovators national showcase, which takes place at CityWest, in Co Dublin, on May 10th and 11th.

Between them they will exhibit 144 projects, covering a wide range of social issues, including social inclusion, communication, road safety, suicide, access to education and health services, and the lack of youth facilities.
