Two part-house clearances provide the lots for next Thursday evening's furniture and fine art sale at Drum's of Malahide, Co Dublin. Lots of particular interest include a mahogany library table and a set of six Victorian mahogany dining chairs, with both items carrying the same estimate of £1,000-£1,500.
A two-door Victorian ormolu-mounted credenza carries a lower estimate of £800£1,200, as does a figured mahogany seven-drawer tallboy in the Chippendale manner. Among the pictures is a watercolour by Howard Knee of the Four Courts in Dublin with a Guinness barge in the foreground. This is expected to make £600-£1,000.
