For the grown-up, one of the funnest things about this very fun one-man show is trying to pin down Michael Cooper's character. His onstage persona mixes a dollop or three of American snake oil with not-a-little dose of camp: one sequence, when he tames a horse in slow-motion to a Sergio Leone soundtrack, would not be out of place at the George.

But fear not, this is kid's stuff. From his stumbling baby to his Riverdancing giant, Cooper slips just behind a variety of amusing, occasionally amazing, masks and costumes. Between the dazzling equipment and Cooper's high level of mime and dance skills, the little ones are eating out of his hand.

And sometimes they're doing it at very close quarters: in the course of Wednesday morning's performance, a dozen or more kids were invited up to put on a mask or try their legs at a couple of mime tricks - descending in a lift, walking downstairs, that sort of thing. It all kept the audience bubbling through a frustratingly fast hour of entertainment.

School performances Thursday and Friday, 10.15 a.m. and 12.15 p.m. Public performances Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
