`THE peace thing is really for the younger ones coming up. I think it's a great thing for my kids. It gives them a chance at life really that we never got and it'll allow them to mix more freely. But it hasn't really affected me or my job, we still get stones thrown at the buses at night driving through certain areas of the city.

"But the way things are going at the moment, the politicians need to sort something out. It can't go on this way and the sooner they sort something out the better. To be honest I think they're all useless. The people on both sides should be able to direct their politicians but they can't really. They're all too busy stalling and playing power games.

"If Trimble and Adams can't agree on something, how are the ordinary working woman and working man supposed to agree? It's a vicious circle. The same with parades and the old history tune. People are just sick of it. Everyone seems to be playing up to the different commissions at the moment, the parades commission, the police commission. Everyone's just jumping on the bandwagon."
