John Scott's Irish Modern Dance Theatre is performing this week at the prestigious Theatre L'Etoile du Nord in Paris. The works being danced are Scott's own all-male piece Just Bodies, first seen last year at Dublin's RHA Gallagher Gallery and also Nous by the well-known Parisian choreographer Fabrice Dugied, which was created for the company and premiered last September at Dublin's SFX Theatre. In November, the company will premiere a new piece especially commissioned for IMDT by the American choreographer Sean Curran. Auditions for dancers for this piece will take place on Friday, June 12th, at 3 p.m. at the De Valois Centre in Meeting House Lane, Dublin - and there will be an open class with the choreographer from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m on the same day (phone 01-8749616 for details).
