Undercurrents, the RTÉ 2fm show that began life as a small section on Gerry Ryan's programme, has been given its own show on sister digital channel 2XM.

The show aims to highlight new Irish music and today’s show – broadcast at noon – will mark the 100th act to be aired. Acts of all descriptions are encouraged to send their songs to undercurrents@rte.ie for consideration. See rte.ie/2xm
