The rise and rise of dance music in the United States is good news for Joel Zimmerman, the Canadian electrohouse producer with the cartoon mouse head. Even a broadside against his electronic dance music (EDM) peers for the charge of simply pressing buttons and calling it a live show has not stopped his onward march.

There's little here which will come as a surprise to long-time fans – Zimmerman was never going to throw the baby out with thebath water and go heavy metal – and it's a thumping, rollicking, highly charged affair. While Zimmerman does share the spotlight with some guests (including Cypress Hill, Imogen Hill, Gerard Way and Chris James), the album's strength lies in the consistency of his proggy, big-room, electrotech.
