As Arthur’s Day nears, so does the final of the battle of the bands – dubbed Our Thursdays – which has been running nationwide for the past few months.

Empire Saints, Dave Peyton, Maud in Cahoots and Reko won their regional heats, and will now do battle to win a slot with Snow Patro, Biffy Clyro and Manic Street Preachers at St James’s Gate. The final takes place next Thursday in Lavery’s, Belfast.
