MUSIC NEWS:Bob Dylan's 70th birthday won't pass by unmarked in Ireland.

A tribute gig, Salute Him When His Birthday Comes, will take place at Dublin’s Button Factory on May 24th, and will feature sets from a number of Irish musicians, including The Fleadh Cowboys, Lisa Hannigan and Mundy. RTÉ Radio 1 will have a day-long tribute on the same day, to feature inserts from the gig. Dylan himself plays Cork’s Marquee on June 16th.
