British Sea Power are amongst the headliners at this year’s Indiependence Festival, which takes place from August 3rd – 5th. The eccentric UK indie-rockers will be joined at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown, Co Cork by former Wexford inhabitant Maverick Sabre, as well as Welsh rockers Feeder and Belgian mash-up duo 2ManyDJs. Drum ’n’ bass musician LTJ Bukem will also play the festival, while Foals will perform a DJ set.

Other acts on the line-up include dance acts Horse Meat Disco and Fish Go Deep, as well as The Pale, The Shoos, Last Days of 1984, The Gandhis, Delorentos, The Frank Walters, Zombie Computer, Japanese Popstars and more.

The line-up for Knockanstockan, the independent festival held on the banks of Wicklow's Blessington Lakes from July 27th – 29th, is also taking shape. New announcements to the Irish-dominated bill include Windings, Hush War Cry, The Mighty Stef, Autumn Owls, The Barley Mob and Sounds of System Breakdown, who join the previously-announced Raglans, Cat Dowling, Hassle Merchants, The Hot Sprockets, The Riptide Movement, Liz Lawrence and many more.
