Country superstar Garth Brooks has admitted to being “stunned” by the response to his comeback shows taking place next summer.
Announcing an unprecedented fourth date at Croke Park next summer, Brooks said he wanted to ensure that everybody who wants to see him play will get to see him play.
Aiken Promotions announced a fourth show this morning so Brooks will play July 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th. No artist has played four successive concerts in Croke Park.

All 240,000 tickets for his scheduled three shows at Croke Park sold out last week within 90 minutes.
Many fans were disappointed and there was scuffles between gardaí and disappointed fans in Limerick.
Brooks said he was informed after the shows initially went on by promoter Peter Aiken that everybody who wanted tickets had got them until news filtered through that they hadn’t.
“I couldn’t imagine there was anybody left (who didn’t get tickets),” he told RTÉ’s John Murray Show this morning. “They called back and asked if we would think about additional shows and I told them that if they wanted additional shows count me in.”
“As happy as you guys have made me in my life, I just want to make you guys happy. It is a wonderful place to play music.”
He also said that originally he wanted to be back in the United States for his daughter’s 18th birthday on July 28th, but she has expressed an interest in celebrating it in Ireland.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday at 9am priced €65.45 and tickets are limited to six each.
