Things are busy again, after the dearth of concerts around St Patrick's Day. The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra gives a concert performance of Puccini's La Bohème, with Bryan Hymel and Sinéad Mulhern as the young lovers, and young Scottish conductor Rory Macdonald on the podium.

The Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra is back in town on Saturday, with Mariss Jansons again at the helm, and again conducting a programme of two symphonies, Shostakovich’s Sixth and Mahler’s Fourth, with popular Swedish soprano Miah Persson (left) in the Mahler.

And Thursday sees Northern Ireland's new opera company, NI Opera, offering a new, site-specific production of Puccini's Toscain Derry, with a different location for each act, moving from St Columb's Cathedral to the Guildhall to St Columb's Hall.
