The Slits come back:Legendary 1970s punks The Slits will play their first Irish gig in many a moon at Crawdaddy on May 6th. The trio, which includes Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook's daughter, released their third album Trapped Junglelast year.
Panda Bear solo:Animal Collective's Panda Bear has announced details of his new album, Tomboy, to be released in September. Irish fans can hear some of it previewed live when he plays Vicar Street on March 12th.
Bragg-ing rights:Billy Bragg will be treading the boards in London this April and May, having written the music and taken on a role in Pressure Drop,a project described as "part-gig, part-play, part-art installation".
Devo's Olympic gig:Devo are among the bands set to play at the victory cermonies of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver later this month. Wilco, Feist, Stars and Usher will also play gigs at the event.
