A round-up of other news in brief

• Stereo Dub: Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier will play a solo gig at Dublin's Grand Social on December 2nd. Stereolab's album Not Music is out November 12th.

• Major help: Major Lazer have lined up a mouth-watering list of collaborators for their second album, including Lykke Li, Santigold and Vampire Weekend.

• Loose plans: Republic of Loose have signed an international distribution deal for their albums. The Dubliners will support the releases in 2011 with European and North American dates.

• Canonising Kilkenny: Saint Etienne have announced an Irish gig at Kilkenny's Set Theatre on December 11th. www.set.ie
