The ESB Feis Ceoil classical music competition is continuing in Dublin’s RDS attracting thousands of school children from around the country.

Now in its 118th year, the Feis Ceoil is impressive in its scope and popularity, even before you get to the often extraordinary talent on show.

Most of Ireland’s top classical musicians have competed at the Feis Ceoil over the years, including John McCormack, John O’Conor, Finghin Collins and Cara O’Sullivan.

The event runs until April 11th. A gala concert featuring a selection of competition winners and the ESB School Choir of the Year will take place on April 30th at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
