The line-up for the fifth First Fortnight festival has been announced. From January 2nd-12th, a programme of music, theatre, film, spoken word and exhibitions will run in venues across Dublins Temple Bar, all with the aim of raising awareness of and de-stigmatising mental health issues.

The music line-up includes Le Galaxie, who will headline the closing night at Dublins Button Factory on January 12th. They'll be joined by We Cut Corners, Kopek and Vann. VerseChorusVerse, The Man Whom, This Club, Róisín O, Chris Campbell and a number of surprise guests will also play at various events, including intimate acoustic gigs dubbed The Therapy Sessions.

There will also be film screenings, talks, spoken- word gigs and a theatre run of acclaimed one-woman play Solpadeine is My Boyfriend and Pat Kinevane's Silent. Tickets are now on sale and a FundIt campaign to raise money for the festival's running costs is active at tinyurl.com/firstfortnight2013
