The nominations for this year’s Shockwaves NME Awards have been announced.

Arctic Monkeys are nominated in seven categories, while Leicester band Kasabian follow with six. The headline-grabbing Lady Gaga is up for both Best Dressed and Worst Dressed, while U2's No Line on the Horizonis one of the Worst Album nominations.

The event takes place in London on February 24th.
