Genre: Alternative
Label: Self-released

Little is known about Leo Drezden, other than their previous title (Rocket Surgery), the fact that they're from Wicklow and Solar Bears man Rian Trench is among their ranks. The rest? Irrelevant.

The instrumental quartet have crafted an exhilarating album that takes in tightly-coiled rock jams packed with melodies (not unlike their fellow Wicklowmen Enemies on Approach and Hunting Drums) and electronic pop that buzzes and gurgles with an insatiable appetite.

The mystical Omen Capricorn Satellite integrates retro synths; Green Fire Magic's jazz improv style soon takes a turn for the demonic; We Found Her Lying There builds from a 1980s pop bassline to an epic cinematic bluster in seconds.

It perfectly embodies the foursome’s ambition: musicianship and most importantly, riotous imagination.
