Pete Doherty has reportedly been taking dance lessons in preparation for his role in The Confession of a Child of the Century, which starts shooting in Paris after Christmas. The film is based on the life of 19th-century French poet Alfred de Musset and co-stars Charlotte Gainsbourg. Fellow Libertine Carl Barat played Gene Vincent in the 2008 movie Telstar, and has also tread the boards.
